Check-In Steps:
Event Check-In: Start your day by heading to the designated check-in area. Our friendly volunteers will be ready to assist you. Please have your registration confirmation handy to speed up the process.
Sign-Up Sheet for Non-Registered Guests: Forgot to register? No worries! We have a sign-up sheet for on-site registrations. Join the event and make sure not to miss out. Please make note: if you show up the day of the event and are not registered, there may not be a lunch reserved for you.
CLE Credit Sign-Up: Attending for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits? Make sure to sign up at the CLE Credit station after the program. Continuing Legal Education (CLE) is available for this event. Any North Carolina attorney attending will receive 5.25 hour(s) of CLE credit, of which 0 hour(s) * will be available to satisfy the substance abuse/mental health awareness requirement, 1.75 hour(s) will be available to satisfy the professional responsibility/ethics requirement, and 0 hour(s) will be available to satisfy the technology requirement.
Session Sign-Up: Secure your spot in the breakout sessions you're interested in by signing up at the beginning of the day during check-in. 60 spaces for each session are available, so plan your day ahead.
Regular Registration vs. Overflow Ticket: Be aware of your registration type. If you hold an overflow ticket, please follow specific instructions to access overflow areas.
Name Tags and Speaker Name Tags: There will be name tags and markers for you to write your name on so others can identify you throughout the day!
Media Check-In Sheet: Media personnel can check in at the designated area. Make sure to pick up any necessary press materials.
QR Codes for Donations and Program: Explore opportunities to contribute through QR codes for donations. Access the event program instantly via QR codes for a seamless experience.
NCJFC Sign-Up Sheets: Discover the benefits of NCJFC membership on-site! Sign up sheets are available for those interested in joining the new, free for attendees, judicial memberships.
Data Sharing and Subscriptions: During check-in, you'll have the option to check a box allowing us to share your information with other participants. Subscribe to the Justice Unbound listserve for updates on events and opportunities.

DIRECTIONS and PARKING
Duke Law School is located at 210 Science Drive, Durham, NC 27708 on the corner of Towerview Rd. and Science Dr.
Event parking will be in the Science Dr. parking garage located at the corner of Science Dr. and 751/Cameron Blvd. You must use the entrance off Cameron Blvd with address 3100 Cameron Blvd., Durham, NC 27708. All guests that enter from the JB Duke Hotel side will have to pay $2/hr. so it’s important you enter from Cameron Blvd. to not be charged. You will not be reimbursed for the parking fee associated with the incorrect entrance.
If there is any trouble getting in there will be an attendant at the gate from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm to assist. If there is no attendant, please use the button at the gate to call Parking Services.
Once you've parked, exit the parking garage, and take a left onto Science Dr. Continue walking down Science Dr. and take a left to enter the Law School, which is a few blocks away from the parking garage. The main entrance is the third floor entrance. Take a right upon entering and you will see the conference and registration table to check in.

ARRIVE ON-TIME
Event Check-In begins at 8:30am and the program will begin at 9:00am. This event does have overflow, which is an adjacent room with streaming from the main room. If you arrive after 9:00am, and there is no more seating, even if you have a regular registration ticket, you will be placed into the overflow room. If you arrive after 9:10am, you will be placed into the overflow room, whether there is seating in the main room or not, to respect our Keynote speaker.
RESTROOMS & LACTATION ROOM
Located outside of the conference room. There are also restrooms located directly below & above the program on the 2nd & 4th floors.
There are lactation rooms (with an outlet) available within the women’s restroom on the second floor of the Law School. Please knock and use code 4215 & press enter to unlock.
WIFI
Look for a network called "DukeVisitor." Select this network.
Open a browser. You should see the "welcome" message pertaining to the visitor network.
Click Continue to connect to your normal start page.
Note that the network cuts you off automatically after an hour of inactivity.
NEED TO KNOW
The parking garage is about 2 blocks away from the Law School so please wear comfy shoes for walking.
Please check the weather the day-of the event and bring any necessary items including umbrellas, rain boots, or rain coats.
The building is wheelchair accessible. If you have special requests, please notify Kayla Quick, kquick@nccred.org, ASAP to ensure you are accommodated.
There are vending machines in the Law School that will be accessible at your own convenience.

If you find that you are no longer able to attend Justice Unbound, we kindly request that you take a moment to cancel your registration. This will open up spaces for other individuals who are eager to participate.
How to Cancel Your Registration:
Locate your ticket confirmation email
Click on "Go To My Tickets" or "View and manage your order online"
Click on the option to "Cancel" or "Unregister."
Or contact Kayla Quick, kquick@nccred.org, to cancel your registration.
