For the winter months of July and August 2021, Chandler House will be exhibiting a group show called
99 Reasons to Come to Cape Town
As the title suggests the exhibition is part marketing, part celebrating, the city of Cape Town as a destination for travelers both near and far. Things have been really challenging since March 2020 and as travel bans start lifting we would like to send a message to the world that Cape Town really should be at the top of your travel list.
When we sent out the invitation to our artists, we never imagined the show would open in this current, harder lockdown; we honestly thought things were on the way up. But as we find ourselves where we are, the exhibition also acts as a reminder that we, as Capetonians, couldn't be locked down in a more special part of the world.
The exhibition is of an organic nature and new work might be added through out the next two months so please be sure to click on the link every now and then to see an updated catalogue.
The exhibition will run from 2 July - 31 August 2021
