The Eagle Regiment has concluded its remarkable 2024 competitive season with a standout performance at the California State Band Championships, securing a 7th place finish in Division 1A.
Despite being one of the smallest bands in the circuit with only nine winds, the ensemble demonstrated exceptional skill. Going into the finals competition, they were initially seeded at 10th place and impressively advanced three placements to finish in 7th place.
The achievement represents a significant milestone for the Eagle Regiment, showcasing their dedication, musical talent, and competitive spirit throughout the 2024 season.
Their journey reflects the Marianist commitment to developing well-rounded individuals who work together, support one another, and strive for excellence. Just as the Marianist tradition emphasizes collaboration, faith, and personal growth, these young musicians demonstrated how teamwork, dedication, and mutual support can transform individual talents into collective achievement.
Congratulations to the Eagle Regiment for their outstanding achievement! The band and color guard's success would not have been possible without the unwavering support of their dedicated parents and volunteers. Their countless hours of support, transportation, and encouragement were "instrumental" in making this remarkable season possible.
