Graduation Ceremony
Sunday June 1st at 2pm (or 11am weather pending) at Harris Stadium
Students should wear formal attire, white/light colored dress or slacks with flat shoes with their caps/gowns/tassels.
Ties are optional.
Students MUST arrive by one hour before graduation start time and report to the High School Gym.
As a reminder, the stadium will be closed to the public on the day of graduation. Any blankets, quilts, reserved signs, etc. placed will be removed during cleaning.
The stadium will open at 1:00pm for a 2:00pm commencement. No entrance will be permitted before that time.
We are able to accommodate 10 tickets per family.
Tickets will be accessed electronically through The Hometown Ticketing Website. The Event will open online on May 30th to load your tickets. Each family will have a unique ticket code which will be distributed to Seniors at Graduation Rehearsal. It is at your discretion to share any additional tickets you may have with other families. If you do not have the Hometown App, we strongly encourage families to print or screenshot tickets in order to move more quickly through the check-in process.
Handicapped parking and seating are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Handicap parking will be available in the stadium parking lot and in the Orange lot. Handicap and seating for the elderly will be on the track under a tent. We ask that only one or two family members sit under the tent with them to ensure we have enough room for those who need it.
The ceremony will be broadcast on two large LED screens so that attendees can have a better view of the activities on the field
Graduation will also be live streamed on the district website. (Link will be available graduation weekend)
The Senior Parade- Optional
Friday May 30th @ 9:15am prior to Graduation Rehearsal
Students are expected to line up on Philomethian street in front of the Intermediate School. They will then be escorted by a police cruiser up East Washington to the 7-12 Campus. Students will take a lap around the campus before arriving & parking in the Orange Lot.
The students and staff from the Intermediate school will be lining the street on the parade route to cheer on our Seniors.
Residents on the parade route are encouraged to cheer on our Seniors.
Families of the Seniors are welcome to park on campus (blue and purple lots) and cheer on their children from here.
Below you will find a list of acceptable vehicles approved by the Chagrin Falls Police Department.
Students who arrive in a mode of transportation that is not on the approved list will not be allowed to participate.
Acceptable vehicles: licensed cars, motorcycles and bicycles; dirt bikes will not be allowed unless they are street legal and have a license plate.
Graduation Rehearsal- Mandatory for all Graduates
When: Friday May 30th 10:00am
Where: Chagrin Falls High School- Harris Stadium
Details: Caps and Gowns will be distributed at this time. Jostens will have a few extras on hand for purchase for those who need one or more pieces (cap, gown, tassel). Tickets for graduation will also be distributed at this time.
Senior Banquet-Hosted by Senior Class Officer parents
When: Friday May 30th immediately following Graduation Rehearsal.
Where: High School Library
Students are dismissed for the day after the luncheon.
Baccalaureate- Optional
When: Saturday May 31st - Students arrive by 5:15pm, Ceremony begins promptly at 6:00pm
