Droplet based Microfluidics

I am a Doctoral fellow working with Prof. Ram Prakash Bharti in Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Roorkee.

My research interests includes the broad area of fluid dynamics, Computational fluid dynamics(CFD), Channel fabrication, microfluidics, multiphase flows.

I am familiar with the experimental facilities like micro-PIV, Rheometer, Tensiometer and computational softwares like COMSOL, OpenFoam, Tecplot, Matlab, AutoCAD, Salome Meca.

My doctoral research domain is CFD and microfluidics. I am working on the topic entitled as "Hydrodynamics of droplet generation in complex fluids in microfluidic systems". The work aims at developing an improved understanding of the droplet hydrodynamics and it's subsequent interaction at multi-fluid interfaces and surfactants, in microfluidic devices using micro-Particle Image Velocimetry.
