I have always loved working with children. I have taught and worked with children in many different venues.

I graduated from Elon University in 1996 with a bachelor degree in psychology and a minor in dance. I received my teaching degree in Health & Physical Education from ECU in 2011. I began teaching dance at the age of 18 and have been teaching in the school system for 12 years.

I have 2 children (Autumn & Trenton) and 1 granddaughter (Raelynn). When I'm not spending time with my family, I love going camping at the beach and spending time reading books while listening to the ocean.

I continue to direct a competition clogging team and spend my weekends traveling with them or working at dance competitions across the East Coast.
