Hi My Art Friends!

I am married to my best friend, Travis. We tied the knot in 2007 and have been on this adventure called life hand-in-hand ever since. In 2009 we were blessed with our daughter Ella. She added a whole new dimension of happiness to our lives! Our family has one dog affectionately named Beastly. We also have a small flock of hens.

During the 2018-2019 school year I was asked to teach middle school art. This was a step outside of my comfort zone, but I found that I loved the challenge. I saw students create beautiful works of art, master new techniques and was able to witness the pride they had in a job well done. It was a very rewarding year. Now this year I am able to share art with our elementary students. Initially I came to CGS because of my daughter but now I feel that I am here to share and support all of our sons and daughters as we share this journey called education.

When not at school I enjoy several different hobbies. When time permits I love traveling with my family, reading, scrapbooking, photography, just about any outside activity, crafting, softball and listening to music. Anytime that I can spend together with my family doing what we love is time well spent!
