WEDNESDAY ~ Earth and Sun Cycle Project introduction. You will make a model at home. It can be made out of just about anything. You do not need to buy something. Just look around your home and find something that is round like a sphere. Then think about how you can decorate it to look like an Earth. You will be given several days to make your model. We will discuss the mini-due dates that will help you throughout the project. Your model stays at home. You will be taking pictures for your project at home - the rest of the project will be completed in school. Due date is 12/8/24 for slides to be submitted and the brainstorming will be collected 12/9/24. Homework is to start thinking about your Earth model.

TUESDAY ~ CER lab is using your qualitative sense of touch using the "What is in the Bag Lab". You will identify small plastic animals that are hidden inside a blind bag by the way they feel. You will write one CER of any bag that you choose. Make sure to use the information written in your data chart. Homework is to complete your lab and the pick and place vocabulary Google Doc.
WEDNESDAY ~ Bring your composition notebook as we will color code a CER about Humpty Dumpty and place that in our notebooks for future reference. We will start our lab when everyone is done with their notes. Homework is a BrainPop video and quesitons about Critical Reasoning. Make sure to watch the video before you just answer the questions.
THURSDAY ~ CER lab is using your qualitative sense of hearing using the "What is in the Box Lab". You will identify what items are hidden in a wrapped box by the way they sound. Homework is to finish the CER writing of any ONE box of your choosing. Make sure to use the information written in your data chart.
MONDAY ~ (Journal Week) Set up composition notebook for interactive notes. Number pages and I will staple the Table of Contents. Then we will put Observations vs. Inferences pyramid foldable into your interactive notebook. Homework is an EdPuzzle on observations vs Inferences called, Carrot Crazy.
TUESDAY ~ Put a Qualitative vs. Quantitative foldable for your interactive composition notebook. Homework is some quiz practice on Observations vs. Inferences and if you did not finish the practice for Qualitative vs. Quantitative, you must complete for homework.
