Design Your Dream Room | Tinkercad
How can you use math and design to plan your own dream room? In this lesson, students identify a list of attributes of their dream room, and use that to plan and create a 3D model of this space. Everything will be based on real-world measurements and scaled down to fit on the Tinkercad workplane.
Recreate a Pattern Found in Nature | Tinkercad
How can you create visually appealing designs inspired by patterns that occur in nature? During this one-hour lesson, students will learn how to analyze linear, gridded, and radial patterns, break them down into smaller parts, and use Tinkercad Codeblocks and some basic math concepts to design a leaf, a honeycomb, or a kiwi pattern. More time can be taken to work on original designs. With some minor modifications, this can be made accessible for younger students as well. Encourage students to share their work using the hashtag #TinkercadCodeblocks.
