"Go Somewhere Over the Rainbow"
Sit comfortably with your eyes closed and practice breathing in for a count of four, holding for four, and then breathing out again for four.
While breathing, take an imaginary walk on a rainbow and travel slowly through each color of the rainbow in ROY G BIV (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet) order.
As you pause at each color, think about your favorite red things on the red stripe, your favorite orange things on the orange stripe and so on until you make your way completely across (or over) the rainbow.

Fold Yourself Calm
Become a Thought Hunter
Sit still with your eyes closed, and count slowly from 1 to 10. If any thought comes into your mind, immediately go back to 1. Watch for even the smallest thought. Even if you have the thought: “I’m already at number 3”... you need to go back to 1 and start again.
This exercise helps us become more aware of our thoughts. The thoughts we are not aware of are the ones that make us feel what we feel. The first step in being able to change our thoughts and redirect where our life is heading is to be aware of those small quiet thoughts.
One to two minutes of this exercise is more than enough.
