Presenting ‘Tips and Tricks for Using iNaturalist’
Joe Walewski is the Director of Naturalist Training at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center in Finland, Minnesota, and the creator of the "Un-huggable" White Pine Super-canopy Trees project in iNaturalist.
He earned a B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology from Iowa State University and an M.Ed. in Environmental Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Presenting ‘Science Meets ART’
Jody describes art is a vehicle to connect deeply with science and feels that our greatest skill as scientists is that of observation. What better way to foster observation than through the acts of journaling and creating! Jody is a 7th grade science teacher at Wilson Middle School in Manitowoc Wisconsin.
The Great Lakes BioBlitz talk starts about minute 3:30.
Learn about how the Great Lakes BioBlitz is a tool to learn about biodiversity with Marte Kitson (Minnesota Sea Grant). Hosted by Meaghan Gass (Michigan Sea Grant).
