Open to any students with percussion experience at the high school level or above; typically capped at approximately 12 students per semester
This ensemble performs conducted and unconducted works for percussion ensemble that represent diversity in regards to instruments used, ensemble sizes, composers, time periods, styles, and cultures, with a goal to prepare students to understand and perform percussion successfully in a wide variety of contexts.

Membership by invitation; students in this ensemble are generally experienced percussion performers holding degrees in music or with extensive ensemble experience at the college or professional level; typically capped at appoximately eight students
This ensemble performs provides a venue for experienced percussion performers to explore the extensive body of literature for unconducted chamber percussion ensemble; specialized semesters focusing on specific cultures, styles, or ensemble types are an option for this ensemble
