Welcome!

Hi, I am Dr. Z! I am excited to be your instructor and introduce you to the world of psychology! My goal every semester is to blow your mind each week with how psychology is intertwined into your daily lives! As a licensed clinical psychologist, I am also trained to read minds... which is especially helpful in an ANY course (just kidding about the reading minds... well maybe).

Biography

Dr. Z has a B.A. in Psychology from Stanford University, Master's of Education in Counselor Education and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University (ASU). (The photo above is of Dr. Z's Ph.D. graduation with President Obama in 2009.) Dr. Z completed an APA-accredited internship at Counseling & Consultation at ASU. Dr. Z has been teaching counseling and psychology courses since 2005. Dr. Z was a licensed clinical psychologist.
