Do singers need experience?

No! 

• CFYC is open to all students grades 1-12, regardless of skill or experience.

When are rehearsals?

• We follow the Orange County Public School calendar.

• Rehearsals are held on Mondays.

• Chorister Choir (Grades 1-6):   5:00 - 7:00 PM

• Concert Choir (Grades 6-12):  6:00 - 8:15 PM

how often does the choir meet?

Rehearsals are held on Mondays at Church on the Drive in College Park

WHAT do rehearsals look like?

Our singers learn:

• • • Ear training and sight reading

    • Healthy vocal techniques

    • Ensemble skills and teamwork

    • Snack

    • Engaging music 

    • All while making friends and having fun! 

We have three highly qualified teachers and an exciting season ahead!

what should students bring to rehearsal?

Students will need:

• A black 3 ring binder

• A mechanical pencil

• A water bottle

where do you perform?

Each season includes at least two or three performances at exciting venues around Orlando.

can i try before i join?

Yes!

• We offer all interested students a FREE two-week trial!

tuition

$400 per year. That’s less than $15 per week! (Tuition may be paid in one payment or by semester)

• $80 Deposit for new members due by first rehearsal (goes towards total)

• $200 / Semester (Due September 22nd and January 19th)

A CFYC t-shirts is included in the cost for all students who pay the tuition in full at the time of their registration.

FAMILY DISCOUNTS

Families with multiple children enrolled can request a 25% discount for their second child and a 50% discount for every child thereafter.

• Families receiving Step Up Scholarships are not eligible for family discounts.

Reduced (not free) tuition fees may be available for low-income families or families experiencing financial crisis. 

• Students receiving reduced tuition must be responsible for purchasing their uniform and choir shirt.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Central Florida Youth Chorus is an approved service provider for Step Up For Students.
