Step 1: Is my child eligible for kindergarten?

• Effective March 20, 2026, House Bill 114 revises kindergarten entrance age requirements. All Ohio schools, including Cuyahoga Falls City School District, must admit children who turn 5 years old by the first day of instruction. For the 2026-2027 school year, the first day of kindergarten is August 21, so children must turn 5 on or before August 20, 2026.
  
  

Step 2: Complete the online registration using FinalForms.

Cuyahoga Falls uses a registration system called FinalForms. 

• Print or read the FinalForms Guide before you begin the online registration process.

• If you are new to CFCSD click HERE to create a FinalForms  account. (You must have an account to register your child.)

• If you already have a child at CFCSD it is likely that you have an existing Final Forms account, click HERE to log in. (If you forget your password, please follow the steps to reset it.)

Step 3: Review resources to prepare for kindergarten. 

• Kindergarten Screening- Look for information to be emailed to you in June 

• Learn more about how to prepare your child for kindergarten.
