We're Opening a Preschool!
April 2025 Announcement
We are thrilled to announce that the Cuyahoga Falls City School District will fully operate our half-day preschool program beginning in the 2025-2026 school year! We have been working closely with the Summit Educational Service Center to ensure a smooth transition and are looking forward to providing an exceptional program for our young Black Tigers at the Schnee Campus, its current location.
Our commitment is to deliver a high-quality preschool experience that supports your child's continued growth and development. We will be utilizing the summer months to prepare the Schnee Campus with new furnishings and curriculum.
Consideration for enrollment of a Preschool Child with a Disability (a child experiencing developmental delays) is based on the child being three years old by August 1st who receives special education services through an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for developmental delays in one or more of the following:
Physical development
Cognitive development
Communication development
Social-emotional development
Adaptive development

Consideration for enrollment of a Typically Developing Preschool Child (Peer Model) is based on appropriate behaviors and space availability. Your child must meet the following guidelines:
Age three by August 1st
Toilet independence and self-help skills (dressing & eating)
Good communication skills & ability to follow instructions
Age-appropriate play & social skills
Ability to transition smoothly between activities

Preschool Information
Program Information:
Our preschool program is available to children ages three to five, both with and without disabilities.
To be eligible, children must be district residents and at least three years old but not yet five by August 1st.
Peer models are accepted into the program and will pay tuition.
Tuition for the 2025-2026 school year is $1,500, based on a sliding fee scale determined by household income and family size.
Schedule:
The Preschool will open its doors for children on September 2nd.
Students will attend half-day sessions, Monday through Thursday.
Morning Session: 8:45 AM - 11:30 AM
Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM - 3:45 PM
Fridays will be reserved for staff planning and professional learning days.
