Carolina Friends School is very excited to welcome you to Durham, North Carolina for our next Quaker Youth Leadership Conference! The theme is Reconnecting to our Roots: Quakerism and the Environment!

What is QYLC?
The Quaker Youth Leadership Conference brings together 9th - 12th grade students from Quaker schools across the country every winter. Schools send 6 students and 2 staff from Upper Schools, and may reach out to the host school to ask for different sized groups. We hope for two staff members to attend from each school.
The conference is aimed to provide a space for Quaker youth to engage in discussions, workshops, and activities that promote leadership development, community building, and spiritual growth. Participants in the Quaker Youth Leadership Conference will have the opportunity to explore Quaker values, principles, and practices, and will discuss issues relevant to their lives and communities. The conference will include sessions on peace and social justice, environmental sustainability, and other topics explored through a Quaker lens.
