My name is Emily Dvorak, and I’m a senior at UNI from Carroll, Iowa. I ran track (hurdles and mid-distance) and cross country for six years throughout middle and high school, sprouting my love for running. My involvement in athletics and passion for service led me to pursue a degree in Health Promotion: Global Health and Humanitarian Assistance and Nonprofit Management. After graduation, I hope to pursue a career focused on community capacity building. I’m also a lover of food, dogs, volunteering, and environmental health.
