Mrs. Paulsen
This is Mrs. Paulsen's first year as a Teacher Librarian! In her 34 years of teaching, she has been an instructional coach, as well as a classroom teacher of English and social studies for students from grades 5-12 in multiple Iowa school districts. This is her 28th year in the Cedar Falls district and her 17th year at Holmes. She grew up between Kansas City, Kansas, and Storm Lake, Iowa, and met her husband Chuck, a CF native, at Iowa State. They have one adult child, Tommy. She likes to spend her time reading fantasy & historical fiction, knitting mittens and Christmas stockings, flower gardening, and researching her family history. Her Labradors ae Princess and Roxy Foxtrot, and she has a cranky old lady cat named Rosemary Petunia. Ask Mrs. Paulsen if you need a recommendation for a good book!
