Hey Cedar Falls Tiger -- Coach Grothoff here! This is my 8th year as a head junior high cross country coach for Cedar Falls. Cross country season is something I always look forward to as I have always loved the sport and the sense of community that cross country brings. I am excited to watch our athletes grow as runners and individuals this season and can't wait to see what they accomplish! When I'm not coaching, you can catch me teaching 7th grade world studies at Peet Junior High -- Go Tigers! 

Assistant Coach: Megan Bowden, megan.bowden@cfschools.org

Coach Bowden is in her fifth year of being the assistant coach and is so excited for another amazing season! She loves everything about cross country, especially how the team becomes a family, and finds so much joy in watching athletes set, meet, and exceed their goals throughout the season. While she isn’t coaching, Coach Bowden loves reading, spending time outside, being active, and hanging out with her family!
