When differentiation and extensions within the classroom are no longer sufficient, students may be recommended for academic acceleration. An acceleration request must be filled out to initiate this process. Depending on the individual circumstances, the request may be filled out by student, parent, and/or teacher. 

Elementary:

Students may be tested for acceleration during the spring of 1st grade. Contact your child's TAG teacher or principal for more information.

Secondary:

Contact your child's TAG teacher or counselor.
