RISE Café
RISING INDEPENDENT STUDENT ENTREPRENEURS
All students gain practice with independent living skills, communication, and functional math by working at the RISE Café. This hands-on experience prepares for real-world situations and develops soft skills for employment.
Laundry
Laundry is a big part of adult life . All students will learn basic laundry tasks using a laundromat and a commercial washer and dryer.
Financial Literacy
Budgeting and handling your money is extremely important. Students practice their math skills in the school and community.
Employment
Learn about different types of careers, visit job sites, learn what skills you have, and prepare for the world of work.
Community resources
Connect with agencies, learn about recreation and leisure activities, and practice accessing public transportation.
