Welcome to Learning at Home!

I certainly miss the joy of teaching your student face-to-face, but I hope you will find that they are still receiving what they need to be successful through the new online curriculum. I am committed to providing your student with assistance even in the most uncertain of times.

My office hours will be Monday-Friday from 9AM-2PM. You can expect an email back within minutes during my office hours.

*Students may email me directly, but parents or guardians must be copied on all individual email communications.*

If you would like to speak to me directly over the phone, please email me and I will provide you with my Google Voice phone number.

Students will complete weekly check-ins on Google Classroom. Please make sure students have joined the classroom and are logging in regularly to answer questions about their progress and get assistance with their assignments from me.

How to Access Curriculum on Edgenuity

1. Go to my.cfisd.net.

2. Log in using student ID # and password. If your child is having trouble logging in, you will need to contact the help desk: isupport@cfisd.net or call 281-897-4357.

3. Click on the Edgenuity app and the Edgenuity Login. Once your student is in Edgenuity, he/she will use the + in the upper righthand corner to add classes. They must add language arts, science, social studies, and math (Only math has K level or On Level differentiation). Some electives will be not be available at this time, but keep checking back as more courses will be added later.

4. Begin working on the activities using the district’s schedule. This will update each week as the curriculum progresses. Here is this week’s 7^th grade suggested schedule. You can find future suggested schedules on the CFISD homepage under Learning At Home.

Curbside Meals:

Curbside Meals for Families Needing Meal Assistance is available from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, March 23-April 3. They will receive breakfast and lunch.

• Children 18 years and younger (must be present) may pick up meals at any CFISD school listed; this is not dependent on where the student is enrolled.

• Student IDs are not required.
