Hi! I am Sherryl Smith, I teach Chemistry at Jersey Village High School in CyFair ISD. I am a native Houstonian, born and raised. I have a bachelor of science degree in secondary education - general science from the University of South Alabama. I have been teaching high school science for 24 years, the last 4 years here at JVHS. I love math and science and kids (including teen-agers). I do math puzzles to relax and collect rocks for fun. I believe that the more our students know, the more opportunities they will have in life.

Please Note:
I hope all is well with you and your family as we all stay home and stay safe during this unusual time. School does continue, just in a new way. How we do it is changing as the situation changes so please check district updates frequently. For now, I need to hear from all my students at least once a week. I will post a weekly prompt in Google classroom, all students should respond to the prompt. Please post a private comment to answer this question each week.
