About Mrs. Ellis

I am so proud to be a Moore Armadillo and honored to be teaching your child. Third grade is such an amazing grade to teach because I get to watch my students grow so much as learners. They open their eyes to all of the wonderful possibilities that reading offers. Soon they are no longer learning to read, but they are reading to learn.

I have been teaching for 14 years and most of those years have been at Moore Elementary in first and second grade. I have also taught Pre-K, third grade, Reading Enrichment, and Dyslexia. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2001. Whoop!

My husband and I have 3 children. Family is very important to me so I spend a lot of my free time with them. I also enjoy crafting, watching movies, going to the beach, and shopping.

I have 2 crazy cats that often become part of my stories in class so you might hear about them from you child. The oldest is a brown tabby named Ruby. The youngest is a black little terror named Max.
