Hi! I am Rachel Weathers. I am currently a 9th grade English teacher here at Cy Creek. I was born and raised right here in Houston, Texas. I graduated from Prairie View A & M University with my bachelor's degree in English. Also, I am recent graduate at University of Houston - Downtown studying to be a reading specialist.

I am entering my 6th year teaching and I have the same passion as when I first started. My goal is create a safe learning environment where students feel comfortable to challenge what they know, share what they've learn, and trust in their own thinking to guide them.
