Howdy! I teach 12th grade Economics. I am originally from the Dallas area, then moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University. There I earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics, with minors in History and Psychology. I have a Master's in Education Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M and Economics Masters Courses at West Texas A&M University. I moved to the Houston area with my husband Russell after we got married in 2009. I have two children, Madelyn and Aaron. After 10 years at Cy Ranch, this is my second year at Bridgeland, and I am excited to be part of the Bear family.
The study of economics can be an endeavor to take on, success will be determined by effort. My desire is that students will realize that responsibility, honesty, hard work, and productivity are major ingredients for a successful journey in and after high school. This course is designed so that students will be better discoverers, analytical thinkers, problem solvers, and responsible students.
My tutorial hours are Mondays and Wednesdays after school from 2:40 to 3:10, or by appointment.
