About me!

Hi! My Name is Marci Glasson and I teach 4th grade Math and Science at Pope Elementary. This year will be my 14th year teaching Math and Science in Cy-Fair.

I graduated from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb Illinois with a BS in Family and Child Studies. I became passionate about teaching through my time working with children in a preschool setting in college. After working with those young kiddos, I realized my true calling was to teach children. I moved to Texas in 2003 and obtained my teaching certification through Region 4 in the fall of 2004. I've been making mathematicians and scientists out of my students ever since. I love to see the wheels turning their young minds while they explore scientific investigations and problem solve. My goal is to instill a growth mindset in every student this year and to make learning fun and engaging EVERYDAY!
