Mrs. Love is a product of CFISD, having graduated from Jersey Village High School. After earning a B.A. in English at Texas A&M University, she taught English at Cy-Fair High School (2003-2008). When the opportunity to teach at Cypress Ranch High School came about in 2008, Mrs. Love jumped at the chance to join the inaugural Mustang staff. She taught English I, English IV, cheerleading, and dance (2008-2014). Mrs. Love was also the Campus Instructional Coach (CIC) for the English Department at Cypress Ranch (2014-2016). In May of 2015, Mrs. Love earned her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas - Arlington and obtained her principal certification. Mostly recently, Mrs. Love joined the staff of Labay Middle School as the Director of Instruction Helping Teacher in 2016. She then became an Assistant Principal in 2019 and is currently the Director of Instruction.
Mrs. Love has a wonderful family at home, including an amazing husband, two beautiful children, and their dog. She is looking forward to a wonderful year all around!
