Hello and welcome to another great school year!

I am a 6th Grade Math Teacher at Smith Middle School in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. This is my fourteenth year of teaching. I attended elementary, middle, and high school in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I graduated from the University of Houston earning my Master of Science in Educational Management. I also received Teacher of the Year during the 2016-17 school year. Away from work I enjoy spending time with my eleven year old son who will be a 6th grader at Salyards MS.

I believe that learning should be fun and relevant. This philosophy drives the instruction in the classroom. My goal is to encourage students and instill a love of math that will last a lifetime.
