Karen Rhymes

I was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. I graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I taught for five years in Louisiana and then moved to Houston, Texas. I have taught for ten years in the Cypress Fairbanks ISD district. I graduated with my Masters of Education in Professional School Counseling and this is my sixth year of being a school counselor.

I have two children, one is at Texas Tech in Lubbock and one is in high school.
