All about Mrs. B

My name is Kandace Blowey and I serve as the Director of Instruction at Salyards.

This is my 13th year in education. I am an original Bengal and had the privilege of opening Salyards in 2011, where I served as a 7th/8th grade Social Studies teacher. I taught Social Studies for 6 years (Texas History and US History) as well as 1 year of Math in 2007. I am originally from Dallas, TX and love my Dallas Cowboys. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Arts in History and Psychology and in 2011, I graduated with my Masters in Education Administration from Sam Houston State University.

I have been married for 13 years to my wonderful husband, Josh, and we have two sweet kids. Addison, who will be in 5th grade and Jacob, who will be in 2nd grade.
