3. My children have the uncanny ability to drive me crazy and want to kiss their faces off all within the same hour. (Austin-14, Gracie-10 and Jackson-4). Austin will attend Cy-Woods this year as a freshman, Gracie a 5th grader at Robison and Jackson is in Pre-K at ELC-Telge.

4. I attended Sam Houston State University on a soccer scholarship and graduated with my bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I recently went back to school to earn my master's degree in Teacher Leadership through Lamar University.

5. I will be sporting a messy bun (also referred to as the "Ro-Bun" by my students) nearly every day. Why, you ask? I like sleep more than I care about my appearance. :-)

6. I have an awesome husband, Kyle, who teaches Principles of Applied Engineering and coaches 7th grade football at Smith MS. (GO SPARTANS!)

7. I am the middle child of three girls and a very excited soon-to-be AUNT! My sisters and parents all live in McKinney (just north of Dallas) where I grew up.

8. I REALLY enjoy cleaning. Organization is my jam. My cordless vacuum is one of my most prized possessions.

9. I have an adorable 11 year old Shih-Tzu named Cooper. Anyone who claims fur babies aren't part of the family hasn't had a dog like my Cooper!
