Edith Patel

Welcome to Rennell!

My name is Edith Patel and this will be my 17th year teaching. I am very fortunate to be a part of our Staff here at Rennell Elementary. Outside of teaching, my passion is my family! I am a mother to three wonderful children, as well as a stepmom to two wonderful sons. I have lived here in Houston all of my life, and can't imagine a better place to raise our children. Together with my wonderful husband, we are proud Houstonians!

I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts. Dance has been a big part of my life. I was a member of my College Dance Team, a former NFL and NBA Dancer, and a Cy-Fair ISD Dance Teacher as well. I love to share my love of dance at Rennell by coaching the Rennell Redhawk Dance Team! I will definitely miss our dancers this year, but am excited to continue with the Dance Teams next year!
