About Me:

A little bit about me. I grew up in Ohio and found Texas after college and have been here since! My husband and I have been married for 22 wonderful years. Our family started in Austin, and we moved to Cypress 14 years ago. We have 3 teenagers and one sweet dog! As far as hobbies go, I enjoy being outside, baking, reading, church, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.

This is my 18th year teaching. I've taught grades PreK through 12th grade in different subject areas. This is my 9th year with CFISD. My main goal is to help each and every student find enjoyment in reading and learning. I love creating a life long hobby of reading and growing student minds! Writing goes hand and hand with reading! The more your child reads the better their writing becomes. It's amazing to see what students are capable of and how creative they become when they are confident in what they are doing! I'm excited to see your child grow academically! I'm so blessed to be a part of your child's life this year.
