Mrs. Hammond has been an educator for 22 years. She began her career in Louisiana and has served in Texas - Cypress-Fairbanks ISD for the last 15 years. Mrs. Hammond has been a Classroom Teacher, Interventionist, Coach, Instructional Specialist, and Assistant Principal.

She has been dedicated to serving students and families at the elementary level and has been part of the Duryea family since 2007. She is a Dolphin through and through!

Her favorite quote comes from the children's book, "Oh The Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss. She believes that every individual has the opportunity to shape their future and achieve their goals.

In addition to her work on the campus level, Mrs. Hammond has presented at the Fundamental 5 National Summit and the Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching.
