I have been teaching since 2017. I've known I wanted to be a teacher since I was in 7th grade and graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown in Interdisciplinary Studies. Go Gators!

I grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. There I had a math teacher who taught me to love math. Mrs. York made math fun and exciting. She gave me a desire to make math less overwhelming for students. I'm excited to bring that joy to the classroom this year!

I also enjoy reading, singing at church, and exploring new places. I am married with a bonus daughter and two active boys. We are often outside or at the beach.
