Meet the Staff

Zach has been teaching the students at Bleyl MS since 2013. During this time he has worked with every level of the BMSB as well as being involved with the Cy Creek High School marching band.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Stephen F. Austin State University in the Fall of 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Music Education and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master's in Band Studies from Sam Houston State University in the summer of 2022. 

He is a consistent member of both the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Bandmasters Association. Through these organizations, Zach constantly works to improve his skills and craft through professional training and workshops. 

Outside of school, Zach is an avid semi-professional photographer, videographer, and hobbyist audio engineer.

Mr. Isassi received his associate's degree from Blinn College and his bachelor's in music education from Sam Houston State University. He spent his time in the SHSU jazz program and its classical ensembles while serving as the treasurer of the Phi Mu Alpha service fraternity. 

When not at school Mr. Isassi plays tenor saxophone for the Alley Kat Big Band in the Woodlands, spends time with his family and friends, plays video games, and watches Formula 1.
