Each summer, CFBISD is proud to offer a variety of challenging enrichment and academic reinforcement classes in our summer programs. CFBISD brings together our finest innovative and creative teachers to teach reading, writing, science, math, technology, engineering, life skills, music, art, physical education, and gifted education. Using this online learning platform, students will explore and become engaged in their area of desired passion. Participants will end the summer with new acquired knowledge and be motivated to continue thinking during the summer in fun ways.

Information About Access to Public Libraries

To enhance your passion projects, you can get resources from the public library. Many libraries are allowing access to their facilities during the COVID 19 quarantine even if you don’t live in that area. Click on the image to hear information about the Carrollton Public Libraries and all the resources you can access digitally!

Note: 5th grade students - if you do not have a computer/laptop at home and are in need of a Chromebook to explore our summer school learning platform please contact your middle school principal of the school you will be attending next school year.

Summer Hours for drive-thru technology help.

CFBISD will offer a drive-thru technology help desk to assist with log-in issues and device repair.

Summer service times are:

Thursdays, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Smith High School and the Technolgoy Learning Center - TLC (2427 Carrick Street in Farmers Branch).

Students south of Belt Line, as well as those that attend Perry Middle School, will go to the CFB Technology and Learning Center at 2427 Carrick St, Farmers Branch, TX 75234. All other students north of Belt Line will go to Newman Smith High School. It is important that students receive a device profiled for their home campus, so it is imperative that students go to the correct site.
