The conference was held at the Wentworth by the Sea Hotel in New Castle, New Hampshire, about one hour north by car from Boston, Massachusetts and also accessible by plane, train, and motorcoach service. We reserved a block of deluxe rooms (choice of one king bed or two queens beds) from May 1st-4th, 2022 at a rate of $199/night (single/double occupancy). Rate was subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 9%). See the flyer for details. Reservations were made by calling the hotel directly and referencing AG Academic Conference or by booking online via the Marriot website here. Rooms had to be booked by April 1st, 2022 to guarantee a room in the block at the conference rate. Reservations were refundable as long as cancellation was received three days prior to arrival. All rooms came with complimentary internet access and on-site parking.

Plane: Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is about an hour south by car from the venue and provides service from major national and international cities.

Train: Amtrak's "Downeaster" service is available from Boston to nearby Durham, New Hampshire. The Durham, New Hampshire Amtrak station is a short 20 minute ride to the venue.

Bus: C & J Bus Lines offers regularly scheduled motorcoach service from Boston Logan International Airport and Boston's South Station railway station to Portsmouth, NH (a short five minute ride to the venue). It also offers service to Portsmouth from John F. Kennedy airport in New York City. Check out their website to see the schedule and book tickets.

The conference venue is a short five minute drive from historic Portsmouth, New Hampshire, a walkable New England seaport town with plenty of dining and activity options. For those that prefer shopping, the venue is also a fifteen minute drive from the Kittery Premium Outlets, a large shopping district with over 120 retail stores.
