FMLA leave may be unpaid or used at the same time as employer-provided paid leave. Employees must be restored to the same or virtually identical position when they return to work after FMLA leave.

TAX FORMS
The Federal W-4 was revised due to federal tax law changes that took place in 2018 which eliminated personal exemptions and doubled the standard deduction. Employees hired prior to January 1, 2020, were not required to complete the revised form; however, any changes must be on the new W-4 form. We recommend using the IRS Withholding Estimator Tool for the most accurate results. The district does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice.
Eligibility is based on rules set by the Department of Employee Trust Funds. Employees who meet the eligibility requirements are automatically enrolled in this benefit as part of state law. The District will pay 100% of the employer’s share of the Wisconsin Retirement System Contribution Rate (amount established annually by Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds). For 2025 the employer and employee contribution rate is 6.95% for a total retirement contribution of 13.9%.
