Senior Gateway to Industry Program

For the past several years, Ceres Unified School District has partnered with E&J Gallo Winery to provide our Senior students with the Gateway to Industry Program. This 10 week spring program is designed to give Seniors the tools and ability to succeed as an E&J Gallo General Winery Employee. During these 10 weeks, a representative from E&J Gallo's Training Department meets with students once a week for 3 hours to learn about the culture and opportunities present within E&J Gallo through exciting and fun team building activities. At the end of the 10 weeks, all students that have attended at least 9 sessions are guaranteed an interview to become a GW Intern for the Summer. Upon successful completion of the internship, the 2 year experience requirement is waived and interns are able to apply to become full time, permanent GW Employees. GW Employees are the backbone of the Winery and the position is a springboard to higher positions all throughout the Company.
