About Me...

Stephanie McInturf...

This is my fourteenth year of teaching at Centura.  I earned my bachelor's degree in International Affairs & Spanish  from UNL.   After being a stay at home mother for many years, I discovered my passion for education while substitute teaching.  I returned to college and earned my teaching certificate from the UNK while simultaneously beginning my career at Centura.

Married for 27 years...

My husband Derek and I live in Grand Island.  We enjoy coffee dates. You will often find us at the Vault in Cairo on Saturdays.  Together we have three adult children, Dylan (Centura ->UNO), Jackson (GISH->Doane) and Kiara (GISH->New York School of Design).

I Enjoy...

Coffee, Jesus, time with family & friends and doing anything outside.  I also enjoy reading a great book & often devour 25 + books during the summer.  In college I was able to study abroad in the Czech Republic, Belgium & Ecuador.  I still LOVE to travel, experience new cultures & meet new people.
