About Me

I grew up on a farm near Axtell, Nebraska. I graduated from Axtell in 1996. After high school I got my associates degree in Fashion and Retail Merchandising from SCC in Lincoln in 1998. I worked in the retail industry and managed some stores for 10+ years when I went back to school and got my teaching degree from UNK in 2010. I have been at Centura ever since. I am endorsed to teach Math, Science, and Drivers Education. I completed my Masters in InformationTechnology/School Librarian in December of 2016. This is my 13th year at Centura, and my 6th year as the Librarian. I have three children, Kaleb graduated in 2017 and has come back to Centura to teach Business, Kiana graduated in 2020, and Ella is in the class of 2026. I also have a step-son Sam and daughter-in-law Caitlin. I added grandma to my title in November of 2020 when my grandson, Brooks was born. I love to travel, hang out with family and friends, watch my children in their events, golf, and craft. I am also the Speech coach and One Act director at Centura as well as the HAL coordinator.Â
