About Me

I grew up on a farm outside of Cairo, raising show cattle and chocolate labs. 

I attended Centura K-12 and graduated in 2011. I was involved in basketball, volleyball, softball, FFA & 4-H. 

I have a younger sister (Taylor Hamel) and younger brother (Trey Schultz).

I attended UNK and graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in 2015 and graduated in December of 2021 with my Master's from UNK as well. 

I married my husband Jarrod on August 15, 2015. We've been together 16 years! (high school sweethearts)

We live on an acreage outside of Cairo; and have cats, chickens, and 2 dogs-Nova & Miya.  

We have two girls, Oaklynn (4 years old) & Laikynn (1 year old) who keep us busy! 

I taught in Ravenna for 8 years, along with coaching Cross Country & long distance track.

I love spending time with family, working on the farm, hunting, reading, playing with our family dogs, going to the lake, baking, Husker football, cows, and being with friends.
