AMERICAN  GOVERNMENT

American Government is required course for all Seniors. In this class we cover the History and Purpose of governments in general, before breaking down the U.S. Constitution piece by piece and how it applies to modern society. We finish by covering how modern politics work and ways in which students can participate in society as active citizens.

U.S. HISTORY II

U.S. Government is a required course for all Juniors. This class picks up with the Gilded Age (approximately 1880) and continues through modern times. There is a heavy focus on Document analysis and connecting historical events to modern society.

SYLLABUS:  U.S. History 

World History

World History is a requirement for all Sophomores. This course covers major events/empires beginning around 1400 c.e. continuing through today. A heavy emphasis is placed on connecting historical events to the creation of our modern global society. We also begin instruction on how to analyze primary document sources.
