Lesson work will be assigned most Mondays and Wednesdays, and checked in class the following day after it is assigned (days may vary depending on school schedules, activities, tests, etc). This practice is not taken for a grade. However, it is to your benefit to practice the skills, and each Friday there will be a Homework Quiz (dependent on activities during the week). Questions will/can be taken from assigned homework from the week, and students are able to use their homework and notes from the week on each quiz.

Since lesson work is not taken for a grade, there is no "late work" assigned to this. 

If you are absent on a Homework Quiz day, you will have until the following Friday to make that quiz up. 

If I do pick up an assignment to be graded, students will be given notice that the assignment will be picked up and graded when I assign the work. Half credit will be given if the assignment is turned in over three days late.

All work can be redone for a better grade within that chapter. If we are in a different chapter, the grade for that work stands as is.

​(Example: An assignment from Chapter 2 cannot be redone for a better grade in Chapter 3) 

Chapter tests will cover all material done in that chapter. No notes or homework can be used on a chapter test. Calculators will be allowed on a test-by-test basis. 

All tests will be worth 100 points. 

Chapter tests are NOT able to be reworked for a better grade. There are ample opportunities during the chapter for points.
