AMPLIFY CKLA

The students will be instructed using a new reading program this year called Amplify CKLA.  It consists of two types of instruction each day.  The knowledge strand builds general knowledge, vocabulary, and other language skills.  The skill strand uses a phonics-based approach to teach the mechanics of reading and spelling.  The students will also receive grammar and writing instruction as well.

Domain 5: The War of 1812 

Domain 6: Cycles in Nature 

Domain 7: Westward Expansion

Domain 9: The U.S. Civil War 

Domain 10: The Human Body 

Domain 11: Immigration

 Domain 12: Fighting for a Cause
