Modern Musicianship
Course Description
Students will acquire skills and knowledge relevant to modern-day working musicians.
The class will focus on topics like songwriting, arranging songs for different groups of musicians, basics of music theory, setting up and utilizing audio equipment for performances, recording and producing music, and performing with a group.
Course Syllabus
This class will combine lectures, participation, and heavy use of project-based learning.
Many of the course materials will be distributed through our course website and Showbie.
