About Me

Hello! My name is Marisa Huntsman. I have been teaching at Central Valley since 2016. Prior to teaching, I worked as a chemist in industry for 7 years. I received a bachelors degree in Chemistry from Clarion University in 2006 and a Masters Degree in Secondary Education from Slippery Rock University in 2014. I also have dual biology minors from Clarion University in Cellular/Organismal Biology and Biotechnology. So, it's safe to say, I love science!

Attention Parents and Students

The Central Valley School District utilizes PowerSchool for Parents and Students to access all attendance, assignments, and grades.

If you have never logged into PowerSchool before you will need to create an account, in August you received a letter containing your Access ID and Access Password which is required for creating an account. If you do not have the letter, please contact the building office for the information.

If you have an account but do not remember the password you can click the "Forgot Username or Password" link on the login page. If you no longer have access to the email address you used to create your account, you will need to contact the building office to have it reset.

Chemistry can be a very difficult subject for some students to grasp, therefore, it is my recommendation for the student to keep on top of assignments. If extra help is needed, please be proactive. Students can come to Academic Study Hall everyday except Thursdays. They can also stay after school as long as prior arrangements have been made.
